There are folks not too far to DC's south and southeast who are getting majorly screwed so far...Nobody in DC/Arlington should be boo-hooing.....We've been fortunate not to be 10 miles to the south and east...

I can vouch for that. 1/4" and hardly anything falling for the last 30 minutes

This x1000.  If snow matters so much to you, don't move to Arlington.

It's still not Saturday night, but it's not far off.  WAY better than Monday.  I'm over 20" on the season

It's not how you start it's where you finish. More to come after today.

DC the yellow bands to your southwest around culpeper are no joke, almost 2 inches in the last hour, coming your way

Amazing last 1.5 hours! Up to just a shade under 6 inches, have right at a foot on ground including old snow.

That hour of mix sleet/snow knocked me back a good bit, but making up for it now.

Light snow in Richmond. Just tiny flakes coming down. Just giving  y'all some updates from your southern flank

Snowing heavily now, hopefully the dryslot to our west fills. It won't be long until I'm in the 6-8" range the nws has for my area though.

1.5" in Silver Spring. It's been a very pretty day to watch the snow fall. Substantially heavier snowfall than we saw on Monday, with little wind so it doesn't feel all that cold either.

Are you downtown?

4.3".  Heavy snow.

Amazing the difference in just 15 miles.

10:30am Ob--Onset
11:30am Ob--.3"
12:30pm Ob--1.4"
1:30pm Ob--2.2"

Good rates, missed out on the Bob Chill deathband though.
