Dan Brown the OCM at ABC 40 tweeted that the CEF record for 6/1 was 35 set in 1967. Pretty chilly morn either way.

The METARs show 34F that morning.

I don't know what climo is, but the water temps in a lot of the Great Lakes are in the 30s. I want to say climo is probably low to mid 40s for Huron and Superior? I know KSAW can be barely 40F with a lake breeze so it may be a bit lower on Superior (climo that is).

That's gotta be colder than normal by a good bit. I'd think like 42-48F at least by now, but I am just talking out of my ssa.

Lake Champlain's Diamond Island is 55F right now...smaller body of water and in a generally warmer climo area with downslope.
