Not sure how will measure up to 12/13/2007 in terms of impact, but it's close. Absolute gridlock in the city and beyond. And to think that they kinda prepared for this too... Some obs / pics: Traffic_7pm_12_17_2013.png Fenway_Park_7pm.png Storrow_Drive_7pm.png I93.png I think NOAA did a good job. This was going to be banded, all models hit that pretty hard IMO. Tough to pin it down but it seemed to be targeting Boston pretty steadily. Nice event for a percentage of you...the rest of us it was a meh 1-3". I'm still hopeful for a bit of a tail/oes later this evening. Every one of these systems ends up edging ashore. Need some blocking to save the SE peeps. Not really a bust, but the low end of the earlier state wide forecasts from some. Happy to hit double D's in December though at 10.25" so far. All of it in the past 10 or so days. Snowing light to moderate now but looks like one more defo band intensifying over ORH county into MIddlesex ready to move NE. Should be good for at least another quick inch. RAP and HRRR were both pretty good, HRRR I thought took awhile to catch on...it was way overdone to the west this morning as some of the taggers there noted.
