This run is fine. Would be wire-to-wire snow across the area and still long duration. Yeah, if you thought you were getting 36 hours of heavy snow and 3 inches of QPF, this run sucks ass.

 

Thank you for saying this. For godssakes people, if NAM is right, for us up in Balt and north, you take it and run. With no questions or complaints.

How do the BL thermals look, in particular, 950-975 mb?  If anyone has seen.  About as cold as 18Z?

Same as earlier runs today more or less.  Freezing level hangs around 975mb all day for DC, slightly higher for Baltimore.  Sub-freezing at 950mb all day for the entire area, 0C line never makes it to I-95.

I didn't have a chance to compare to 18Z yet, but the lower levels are cold!  Definitely supports snow in DC for the duration of the storm.
