What do you mean out east? Numerous places on east end over 50 with montauk over 60. South shore beaches will see the worst wind

HRRR gives us about a half inch of rain here from this batch moving in for the overnight into early tomorrow morning. Then it looks like just spotty showers for the afternoon. It has gotten pretty windy here with some gusts 30 to 40mph.

FWIW, I was being sarcastic. The storm is still off of the Carolinas. It's taking absolutely forever to get up here. What we have now are the outer bands. The main event is tomorrow night.

Over 15k without power.. Winds are now nearly 50 mphs gusting and just got woke up to thunder. Tides tides are really really bad . Lol at how low the water got high tides in 4 hours ... massive costal flooding incoming people!

If that is the lighthouse, disregard it. They report 80 mph in every storm.

Lightning in that band just south of central Suffolk over the water. That band is moving wnw

It is the lighthouse and they are legit based on there elevation. They have higher winds

I looked it up, that 80 mph report might have been in km/hr, which sounds bad, but it is about 50 mph.
