Barnegat Bay communities are going to get whacked pretty good. Mystic Islands, Tuckerton, etc.  Regardless the surf and erosion on the shore this is going to be significant for the bays.

Also the timing is wildly different. The storm is still intensifying as the run ends. And there’s a ridiculous amount of rain lurking just offshore.

The 12z RGEM is an intense storm too but because of where it stalls, the winds would be northerly, and then offshore, saving the NJ coast from the worst flooding.

I think the mostly offshore, low to no impact solutions are off the table now. The storm is already forming.

Only good thing with this scenario as shown is it keeps the wind trajectory more NNE to N and that would keep water from piling onto the coast.  Still questions on how this all eventually plays out.  Complex evolution for sure.

It’s already bad there.  Saw a story last night and already showed scouring on the beach.

Standby, it's i haven't bothered them enough the last few days they should answer semi shortly.  My guess/hunch is after 12z they will start doing big updates.

They'll issue the wind advisories and high wind warning for E LI this afternoon.  I know you went on your rant yesterday but we have track agreement now with the models, so they'll have confidence to issue products now with respect to the wind IMO.
