5" is our threshhold for shellfish. They will often close for lesser amounts for coastal flooding. All the goose poop ends up in oysters.  Pro tip don't eat shellfish next week.

You took the words right out of my mouth...  I was going to post the exact thing several times over the past couple of days, but said screw it...  Folks were more excited about cheering on STEIN than enjoying a complex evolution of a potent Nor'easter.  The constant "meh" stuff has gotten beyond old... To be successful on this board all you need to do is type any of the 3 words / terms; torch, Stein or meh...

30 minutes away, I wont be denied high winds this weekend.   I was up there a couple of weeks ago on a dewey day and it was in the mid 50s and howling at the summit.
