currently 66/63 and the rain started a few minutes ago

lol, still struggling with the thread title

You do know what endless summer means I’m assuming ? It means AN pattern with any cooldowns minor for a day or two and then right back to warm. Where the summer pattern just continues . Which is exactly what we have been in and is modeled moving forward. No sustained fall or cool

Don’t worry it will promptly end though come winter time. E MA gets the big snow, we get the big rains.

It didn’t go that way last winter. Y’all cleaned up relative to normal.

Big rainy winter yes

If they’re raining we’re raining too. Better hope the mix line stays in Long Island Sound.

don't assume too much; to me "endless summer" means actual summer weather doesn't end, 80s+ and dews go on and on, and that's not happening

you tend to engage with language that exaggerates and reaches toward the weather outcome you'd prefer, thus biasing your "forecasts"

perfect

again, don't assume too much; as stated above, to me "endless summer" means actual summer weather doesn't end, 80s+ and dews go on and on, and that does not appear to be happening

you tend to engage with language that exaggerates and reaches toward the weather outcome you'd prefer, thus biasing your "forecasts" and repeating them doesn't improve their accuracy

Pouring buckets here..perhaps our most impactful region spanning rain event of the summer season is upon us. On another positive note, we still got a few hummers buzzing around the feeders and making the rounds before they make their inevitable journey south once again. It’s always sad to see the little crazy-hyper, sugar addicts leave until next spring.

Ah ok, makes sense and seems reasonable.  I thought you were implying that was going to Stein/miss you and stay on S.Coast.  My bad.

Had 0.37” up here last night and almost an inch a few days ago.  Otherwise we’ve been real dry the past 4-6 weeks or so but I do enjoy it spending so much time outdoors.

We have been dry. I’ve especially noticed it with the irrigation ponds at the golf course. They are low. The rain overnight and a couple of days ago was nice, they type that soaks in. I would still like some more though.
