I don’t necessarily want it to storm in DC (I like planes and fireworks) but it’s amazing it hasn’t. It seems inevitable it at least rains, but lucky for the event planners so far…

Radar looks exactly like the last time we had a multi-day threat and I ended up with less than a tenth total- action going north, action going south and nothing happening in between lol. Comical at this point. Maybe tomorrow, or the next day will deliver  Might get some leftover sprinkles later as the stuff west of DC dies off moving east.

Still low key kind of rooting for exceptional drought category. Why not at this point?

Wow! Northern AA County got nailed. Not a drop here. Radar looks good for DC imo. That stuff west of DC will run into stale rain cooled air after sunset. It will die off imo. I don't expect anything here this evening east of DC.

I eat my words.  Was watching the Arlo camera back home and it was torrential downpour then the camera feed cut and I immediately got a SMECO text that power was lost to our house.  Good to see some rain there finally!  Looks like a decent shower complex moving in here at the cabin. Doesn't seem like we need the rain much up here but it will make for a good night collecting moths if we get.some.rain this evening.
