JFK is the only reporting station other than ISP yet to get TS, would be amazing if somehow they dodge it the entire event but that cell 40 mi west might impact them

Quite frankly im done with the rain for the summer. Just feeding crabgrass and weeds. Time for a nice dry sunny stretch

And, yeah, after multiple leaks in my house roof and my garage roof and water in my basement on Saturday, I’d be perfectly happy seeing all this miss middle Long Island. I’m convinced most of this forum are not homeowners lol. 

Went eastward essentially right along Rt 80 / 46 corridor.

Got lucky here.  The hook echo was pretty well defined on radar and slid by just south of me.  

Rainfall total on the day 3.09".  Had 1.72" in early morning round and 1.37" with the tornado warned storm.  Most of that 1.37" fell in about 15 minutes.

Strong storms and heavy rain crossing into Sussex County as of 5pm.  Does not look severe.  Heavy rains and gusty winds mostly.  Threat of severe for NNJ just about over.  South of 78 still in the game where airmass is more unstable.

Thank you. Yeah I saw reports that Stanhope was the touchdown spot but was not sure where exactly that video was filmed. Wild to see tree damage like that on a 65-mph highway. Hopefully the guy in the westbound lane with the tree across his hood is okay.

That cell in Middlesex County expanded southward as it approached my area so at least getting a good watering. 

No thunder or lightning, just some nice heavy rain (not monsoon level as some others have seen today).
