Blizzard warnings being added to the eastern shore by Philly.

The Blizzard Warnings were expanded significantly inland along eastern PA, NJ and a good ways up the Hudson in an arc around RI and Mass.  My wife is living temporarily in NYC on the upper West Side and taking Amtrak back tonight to avoid what will likely be a shutdown of Amtrak in the NW corridor tomorrow.  Tempting to go with her to see NYC get nailed from her 23rd floor view.  Had a nice snow in Dec that was awesome to watch from an elevated perch.

Why no 15z Srefs snowfall map? Don't mind if I do.

Nice! I can see something like this happening if the lows tuck west and throws the ccb further west into nova/81.  Let’s see if 18z/0z models start showing this

Feeling good here in Loudoun. I think I am just enough east to get some decent snow, whether its from the IVT potential or LP being closer to the coast. West of Loudoun is the question mark imo.

Yeah. We need to maximize the front end out here. Then pray for the inverted trough after that. I feel pretty confident that we will get some out this way. But the big stuff is going to be east again. is what it is.

Rack em and stack em, tuck and capture the low! wish this was happening a touch differently so we could all get the jack instead of NJ, but whatever. It looks cool.

Sorry for the quality, hard to fit this much action under the size limit. 12z euro 500mb, 700mb, 850mb and 850mb

Textboook. I agree with @MillvilleWx earlier, should slide north northerly after the capture not so much ENE.
