Next chance seems like a weak wave around Thursday next week? It’s actually been fairly consistent on guidance. Sort of just looks like a cold front passage but antecedent airmass is cold enough to be snow for us potentially.

Seems pretty boring overall though...woild love to get another shot at something substantial. Thankful for what we got last week...but it was SO close to being a lot more that I want another swing at something, lol

Welp back to this thread. Longwave pattern and cold suggests we are still in the game for first two weeks of feb.  And we're gonna have solid snow (ice) cover for another 7 days so I can live with it

There is a chance for this to be an epic winter but we are going to have to start picking it up in the snow department to get there. Most are probably around or slightly ahead of climo to date. Throw in the serious cold for nearly the entire winter and this could really rival our best winters over several decades IF we can get clobbered once or twice.

Where have the clippers gone? I feel like in the early 2000s they happened almost every winter? Now in recent years we need a perfect situation to snow and even then it is a struggle. If its been northern stream dominated years, why haven't we had any clippers dive down in that northern stream? Maybe someone with more knowledge can provide some ideas.
