27/23 with FZR for the past 2 hours or so. Severna Park

I went to bed this morning around 830 am when it flipped to sleet. I woke up a couple of times and still heard pingers. Finally got up around 4pm and it's been freezing rain since that time. I had 5.5" of snow before it flipped. I'm guessing around 7" total with sleet.

Must be nice to be a Bostonite.  Your team back to the Super Bowl and 20 inches of snow.  Wonder what that's like.

As a Pats fan, game was almost as intense as the storm. 20” would be nice but I’ll take our 9+ inches of snow/sleet.

Down to 25 and its 90/10 freezing rain.  My driveway is a skating rink, fun!

After that stupid ass temp spike I'm now down to 24.4.  A 4F drop in 45 min.  Sleet/ZR mix here and its total ice on top the sleet pack

I’ve lived here for about 18 years and I don’t remember a storm quite like this - between the snow, heavy sleet, and now freezing rain with temps in the teens/20s.  Very neat.

Look. Nobody wanted sleet. But I mean if we’re going to do it, it should be like this.

Yeah I'm not the biggest fan of sleet either, but this is literally the best way to get it. Getting 6"+ of snow underneath it, and to get it heading into a week where the pack will be an absolute glacier with lows in the single digits and low teens for days on end is a particular kind of deep winter many of us have never seen! Despite a very small tinge of jealousy of those up north that got 20"+ inches we could've gotten, the I am thoroughly enjoying this rather unique event and all it's glacial awesomeness

People keep mentioning the 2007 one but for me the Jan 1994 MLK sleet fest will always stand out.  CAD held on all day and what was supposed to go rain stayed sleet all day and that was my first storm with sleet in inches.  This one is now equal.
