I CAN NOT come back next weekend.  No Shot even if it’s the Blizzard of 1978 Redux.  I come back freaking February 3rd.  CAN Everything HOLD OFF UNTIL TUESDAY the 3rd for God F-ing Sakes??  I’m home ALL OF FEBRUARY!  

But regarding this one, I can deal with the HELL of missing 14”.  But 15”-20” I can not.  

The FIRST Problem I run into is the charge for my awesome and Expensive rental car hits in a JUST few hours on Turo, OR if I screwed quick, I could change it to Wednesday at 11am now and save the money I’ll lose on one of the flights.  

The SECOND problem is I just fight for the final night here at the $500 a night Hilton cause I’m going to stay late at the Booth and help then break down for NAMM.  If I LEAVE 11pm Saturday night after I Just FIGHT for it?  My God.  

The THIRD is the private Gig Sunday with a buddy of mine that would have to go bye bye But I could tell him as late as Saturday, that’s not a big deal  And lastly I’d have to pull an all nighter Saturday night and watch the game sunday as a ZOMBIE, then come back to LA for my major concert Wednesday on very little sleep.  

 

And those are just SOME problems of doing this to not bore you with many others.

This is my worst nightmare.  20” + I’m coming home regardless of anything.  Below 15” I’ll deal.  

 

15-20 is Absolute Nightmare territory.

For Corey, I think it is a tossup at hitting 15".  Your spot might be up and in enough to get the best of both worlds... decent ratios, but some ocean enhancement depending on winds.

 

But it will be tough for some to pull 15" out of this based on moisture.   Just my 2 cents

It’s the icon so take it fwiw, but for my latitude I didn’t like seeing the northern stream putting more of its energy into advancing that Ontario shortwave along quicker versus dumping it into the backside of that trough like previous runs did. There’s more action around James Bay this run too trying to kick pieces along.

I miss oceanstatewx insights with the NBM and its latest developments. Its not a bad source though I think it still has a quite a bit of room for improvement. I'm actually not entirely sure how it does with snowfall forecasts but I believe it can be a solid source because of its ability to bias correct

Icon looks great here. Printing out 1.25-1.50 liquid equivalent in eastern ma. 
 

even with marginally better than 10:1 ratios, that’s an 18” snowfall.

AI GFS looks like stabilized the N trend too but also better coastal to throw back a little more moisture on Monday

12z ICON is great, but did back off a bit on the coastal development and capture... you can see at H5 the energy is slower to infuse and tilt the trough compared to the 0z ICON

Just something to watch if we're looking for the more "exotic" "nirvana" solutions of SWFE on steroids + CCB to get us above 20"
