WxWatcher007 Posted December 28, 2025 Share Posted December 28, 2025 Not expecting much but temperatures have definitely come in under forecast so far. After a high of 25.3 we’re down to 24.3/21. It’s a rare time where I’m running colder than KSLK which is at 27 currently. I just hope by the time the rain gets here around 3-4pm we can Dryslot. There will probably be spotty outages in the hill towns and here-north, but I’d be surprised at anything widespread. A half inch of accretion is a lot of ice. Significant icing for sure (0.5"), from what I can tell much of the qpf occurs during a relative short period of time.
