Noteworthy enough that the local CBS met mentioned it on a Livestream and bumped his snowfall forecast south to account for it. Sent from my Pixel 9 Pro XL using Tapatalk Literally mentioned this to my Dad. I think it’s a little coastal enhancement over Sussex Co. These are nowcast features, but it’s interesting NAMNest and HRRR to some degree are showing it. I’ll be keeping an eye on it myself.

I just want a medium range threat to track that we're all in on. Will would even post the HRRR when it's good for us. 4
Mrs.J
Coming up 270 from DC. Hit rain then a heavy band of flurries in NoMo County around the truck scales. Flurries continued until we got right to the South side of Frederick. Then absolutely nothing. Wet roads but by the time we worked our way to my neighborhood the roads are still dry and crusted over with salt. Should have known the weather hole I live in would not disappoint. Returned home and imo I think where we got that initial band will probably do very well with this event. As for the rest of us those couple crazy HRRR runs were so insane because they had that band reach southeastward so we’ll need to watch if that manages to happen

Harv_poor
Really Interesting. Left my daughter's house in Roland Park (northern Balt City)at 9:45, and it was light rain and 38 degrees on car thermometer. By one exit later on I83 (Northern Pky) snow had mixed in and by the time we got home, about 8 miles and 15 minutes later, the temp had dropped 5 degrees and seemed to be all snow, albeit very light. the time

Look where the current precip is now. Where it's snowing/raining now is the jackpot for this one.
