Haven’t looked much where you are but you’ll be near the line as well. Right now I’d feel good near Ray to ORH on north. From inside 495 to Kev that’s where the biggest uncertainty exists. If the euro is right they get 5-8 easily. But that warming from 925-850 is what the issue is. Early in the season and winds at that level are south before turning east and northeast. Not really a recipe for good snow. Ideally you want those winds to come around like NW-N to NE and even E is fine. Now that can be compensated with strong lift through the DGZ. A bit early to determine where that will be. I’m thinking C-1” here near the end. 1

CT Valley Snowman
Really close call here. GFS pivotal maps have like 8" here and 2" in Ellington. Surface temps on most modeling get up to around 33 with the 850 O line right over my fanny at the height of the storm. I would prefer to be about 10-15 miles NW. I'm going with a cautious 2-4"here in this part of the valley as a first estimate.
HoarfrostHubb
Euro should be similar to 12z maybe some wiggle that's basically noise

Been in this area for 10 winters now, odds are go low with this, especially this early in the season. Maybe 1-2 before changing over to heavy rain and 34 degrees. Your elevation may help a bit compared to me, but I suspect we all flip pretty quickly. So, me around an inch, you 2ish? Hope I'm wrong and the Euro is closer to correct on thermals and low placement/strength. Still plenty of model runs to go, so I suspsect some fluctuations, hopefully not towards the Nam solutions...

It's our first winter type storm and we're literally in the very beginning of December. This is a good thing. They're not all going to be winners. I'm just happy we're getting a wintry type of storm. We have another chance on Saturday and more chances in the next several weeks. Chin up
