Damage In Tolland Posted yesterday at 09:00 PM Share Posted yesterday at 09:00 PM BOX keeps insisting elevation event . Do not agree totally on that . Especially North of 90 An interior/higher-elevation mainly snow with lower-elevation/coastal plain wet, gloppy snow-to-rain scenario remains a best guess as to precipitation types;

CoastalWx Posted yesterday at 09:15 PM Share Posted yesterday at 09:15 PM Just looking at the euro, 925 is actually out of the SW prior to the storm. Gets it to near 1c. Feel like any snow is at the tail end around here when it drops to near freezing.

Maybe an hour or two ago he told me there was three or 4 inches and I told him they would probably end up around eight or 10 inches.

I think 8-10 is a good bet with the long duration of the event. We’ll be having dinner in town Monday night for my birthday with maybe 1-3 inches expected from the next system.

I remember maybe about 15 years ago when I lived up in East longmeadow Mass, there was like a 3 to 4 nights where we had snow on and off. I loved every minute of it!
H2Otown_WX
ECMWF LR pattern looks a lot better than the GFS as @ORH_wxman outlined yesterday. It shows low heights rotating through the Aluetians with +PNA ridge underneath:

GEFS has been caving to EPS when it gets to like D10-11-12. Hopefully that continues because EPS looks really good. Even popping western ridging week 2 where a more substantial system could develop in that look.
