We just started going from drought to active, and the storms are already deamplifying and cutting. I’ll leave my family. I’ll sell my house and live with the moose at Fort Kent. I won’t do another sub 20” winter that people pretend isn’t a rat because January was -1.1°. I just can’t do it. You are going to get buried in Saranac. I'll bet you'll be sick of snow by next April. 1
jbenedet
Another day another shower. The past 2 weeks has been a complete flip from the drought conditions in terms of rain chances.
jbenedet
The trend on the GEFS has been to a much more amplified system with cross stream interaction, albeit with incomplete phasing. Completely lost the progressive look from early yesterday. Also back to a negative tilt over the SE US. GEFS/GFS is in line with other guidance but def hasn’t been leading.

There could be 500 million acres of lava in the Arctic and the answer would be “let’s see if it’s still burning in a week, we just don’t know what’ll happen.” There will never be an ice fee Arctic in our lifetimes or our kids lifetimes…that’s total horse sh*t, bet on it. How’s that for knowing. And worrying about pacific air in late October…is ridiculous. And the upcoming pattern doesn’t look zonal that’s for sure. And mid 50’s for highs with sun and clouds is gorgeous autumn weather…exactly what we have, and as it should be. Loving this weather. 4 3 1 1
