Usually the 540 thickness line approximates to heights around 552, but obviously in overrunning/SWFE situations we can even go higher than that and get snow. 2

rimetree
38.2. Consistent nights below freezing don't look too far off. Seems like the big solutions for next week are disappearing but at least it's active.

Low of 31, sometime in the wee hours. Had light RA at 11:30 last evening (0.07") and mostly cloudy at 7 this morning. Must've cleared for a few hours between. Snowcrazed71
Well this morning was the first morning that all of the roofs on my street had frost on them. It's funny, I'm higher up on the hill but a few houses down from me and as I go down, the roofs on the house is is seem to be more frosty than up where I was. It's the whole valley thing I guess LOL. 2

Does start out in the ocean and cuts in near the Delmarva. At least on this depiction. To me when I think of an inland cutter, it starts out in the Great lakes and lives its way up through the St. Lawrence valley or the Appalachians. But potato-pototo I guess
