Same here.  Usually, my site radiates better than yours - maybe a bit of breeze last evening here?

Absolutely beautiful today, 73° when I got back from my knee-exercising walk at 3 PM, almost 3/4 mile - taking it bit by bit.  Looked at what my new neighbors - 3 families, dad, 2 sons, families - have been doing this summer other than burning powder at the big (200' by 100') old logyard.  Even at 800' thru the woods the noise is serious, though it's mainly 9 mm pistol.  Only a few .223 cases and 12 ga. buckshot hulls, also 3 well shot-up pieces of plywood.  Maybe they can push a deer to me while I'm sitting next the sled trail thru our woodlot this coming Nov.

Glad all is well with the knee Tom, Rehab is key, If its dead calm here i can radiate pretty well which it was, Quite foggy as well yesterday with the smoke off the Androscoggin River, Over the years when I've hunted, I would sit and let others move them around, Bagged a few deer this way, I'll be out first of October this year with my crossbow, I won't be passing on any deer this year like i did last year.

Damn waves are huge this morning.  Long rollers perfect break. Go Go Go

My sister on Pt Judith said Wednesday seemed like the best day. Literally hundreds of people surfing in sand hill cove. Cars from all over the US parked on like every side street. They were rolling right through the breakwaters like they weren't even there.

How do you protect the whole operation from lightning damage?

Pole is fiberglass so not really lightning friendly... All wireless so no direct connection to the house or office.  Always a risk of lightning strike no matter what I do but the overall setup is not a lightning attractor...
