Mrs.J
Decent amount of rain pushing through. Starting to get brighter as we get to the backside. Was actually surprised it did not get torn up by the mountains.
HokieEnginerd
Up to 0.8 in of rain from this morning and early afternoon just southeast of Gainesville. It has been very nice not having to water the plants much this year.

I had almost .40 yesterday and .03 today and it's raining as I type. I'm watching the radar to the SW. The lowlands might be in line for storms later. frd
The persistence of cloud cover the last several months is almost annoying as the high winds of the last several months, although that seems to be diminishing.

Another cluster just popped in the same area... Thankfully the large synoptic events this spring have been a nice change... March and April were very dry last year and the same this year. May was slightly wetter than normal last year at 3.73" and well above the normal of 3.60" this year with 5.42". The GFS Extended and Euro Weeklies believe that June will be wet this year. Fingers crossed. 1.50" Friday thru Sunday noon was very nice.
