More snow than sleet at the moment.

Mainly snow still, cleared 4”. This is one storm where LI shows it sometimes has a SNE climate.

As soon as I went out for my walk ( a few pages back over an hour ago ) New City Rockland county flipped to sleet,,,,,,been mostly sleet since then,,,,I saw BX post that Nanuet was around 3 inches I did not measure but I will in a bit but I think I am closer to 4 if not over 4 will measure in a bit

Looks like NWS Upton busted for northern zones on this one. Doubt anyone outside of interior New England has 8”. Most of Hudson valley will have up to 5” max

My Bernese Mountain dogs do as well. Was gonna post a photo of them but I kept getting errors about the image being too large so I stopped trying lol

Mix of sleet and snow in Bayside now. Looks like lowest amounts will be along south shore 2.5” or so and highest will be 4”+ in Bronx. I guess a general 2-4”+. Biggest event since mid February of last year. Central park under 4” streak continues
