gpsnavigator
Wow, that line. Probably a good thing it's missing us to the south, but hang on tight down that way.

Let’s see if there are any interesting coastal effects. jm1220
Maybe some showers for most of us, probably not even enough to rinse the pollen off the car. Powerful storms for S NJ, although that looked like the best area for a couple days. The storms firing where they did in NW PA sealed it.

If we go into the usual summer pattern of storms inland and dry near the coast because storms fizzle out, the coastal areas will be there soon. NJwx85
Not bad for about 500-1000 J/KG of SBCAPE. Goes to show you what strong shear and good mid-level lapse rates can do. If we can destabilize some behind this line we have a shot at some severe later with plenty of old outflow boundaries hanging around and potential cold pool. CIK62
Lightning missed CI by 40 miles to the south. Near Toms River and below. This line must have been moving 45-55mph. itself, so it could have added to any northwest gust and reached that 90mph shown above. It petered out in just 45 mins, reds to yellow bow echo, that is.
