2/19-20 Winter Storm Observations

Recommended Posts

Just saw the first flurries here in Remington neighborhood 3 miles north of downtown B'more. I'm at about 150 feet elevation about a 1/4 mile to the east of I-83, humidity and dew point have been creeping up the last hour or so. So, now we see if anything will actually stick to the roads. It's coming Charm City peeps!

Best rates/ lowest visibility of this winter right now.  Temp still dropping, down to 27.

ETA: house across the street is about 350' from my front door and is barely visible at the moment.

No complaints here...sorry if you have some.  Good luck in life

For those of us who have not or had not seen a flake, it is legit frustrating.

finally first flakes here at 8:21 am. Now will have to race to hope we accumulate well before sleetfest. It’s a late start for us up this way though in a race against time setup.

Measured about 1.5" on the ground in North Laurel. Saw a good mix of thin columns/needles, rimed dendrites, and small/moderate-sized aggregates.

Sorry...I was mostly speaking to the ones getting snow right now. I can understand the wait being frustrating
