Surprised boonsboro has more than smithburg

It's been a mix here most of the morning and I haven't got into the fatties.

Looks like the R/S line is moving SE fast on the last few CC frames.

Are you all snow there?  CC loop indeed shows the mix line collapsing to your southeast.

Sleet rain mix with some wet flakes when it dumps. More rain when light precip. Winds whipping

down to 33.7/31

DP makes me happy

It lightened up here but now it's picking back up as the 3rd heavy band of the day approaches. Working on 4 inches.

Nice! Yeah I’ve seen the heavier stuff stay West so not surprised I’m a bit lower. But hoping that batch to my south dumps on me

Continued nothing.  Sounds like Falling Waters area is the jackpot.  Big totals seemingly will verify there.  Euro might have nailed that area.

00Z Nams seemed to have nailed my area.  Light / broken precip and dry-slotting that kept showing up over the Valley in those runs has come to realization.

I feel your pain but this is still going to be a great storm for us. I've noticed over the last few years my observations and totals seem to mimic yours while Winchester almost always does better.

Based off DOT cams and fire calls the roads in Damascus and Clarksburg, especially secondary roads, are beginning to get slick.  Carroll County has been unusually busy with a number of wrecks and even 1 fatal so far it seems on Rt. 26.

thick bright yellow band headed my way.  I hope I don't mix out in that.  If all snow I am money.

It is.

Did not expect to get much ZR from this storm in the middle of the day this late in march but icicles are forming on the trees, mix of ZR and pingers here, Temp is hovering right around 32 with a dewpoint of 30.5.

0.48" of liquid equivalent so far, definitely getting good QPF.

Trees finally starting to cave, almost 2 hrs after the roads. Who would have thought?
