I think it may take awhile to cool though when it does flip. I mentioned earlier it may take a bit to stick as it snows at like 34F.

Nice! A friend in Windham said all snow so I figured we were straddling it here. Interesting how it snowed lightly all afternoon here and then switched to rain as the sun went done.

Isn't that the case in every storm

mm. There are plenty of storm types that don't generate that phenomenon.   There are also storms that have those, but also ...have massive IB associated with warm advection.

So if you mean that in the sense that it's somehow obvious?  That would be incorrect -

Just drove home. Portsmouth rain wet, Durham snow slush. Lee moderate snow roads covered good. Nottingham trees sagging, almost 4"

Nice. Used to live over on Minuteman Lane off route 4...remember those rides up the hill in similar situations.

23z HRRR continues that signal for dual lows fujiwara'ing and bringing very heavy bands into eastern/southeast MA...

flips 8-9pm in most of eastern coastal SNE, fireworks 9pm-2am

Le snow is here. Not expecting much growth with puddles on the ground but it’s fun to watch and I don’t feel like I’m totally missing out anymore.

Getting ripped hard here by this band. Best rates since January 2011.

.

yeah, this matched 1/27/11 for me. Unreal. I shoveled my driveway and when i came in after 20 minutes I had 1.5 new on my steps.

Definitely in the process of flipping here. Winds are cranking and it's about 50/50 rain snow now. ...check that, just looked again and it's almost all snow

how much in Danbury?

when I measured like just over an hour ago we had 10.5'' but we have to be around 12'' right now...if not slightly more. Unfortunately I don't have a yard stick with me

2" an hour rates are back. Dumping.

Yup very impressive.  Measured 7.5 inches.  The wind is very impressive...consistent and blowing the snow everywhere.

Loojs kike the western part of the state will be the jackpot...New Fairfield reported 16 inches already.

Been stuck in the snow hole that’s running from Gardner southwest to Springfield. Hopefully that fills in soon.

Yeah. Pretty meh here. 3.75” when I measured at 7PM.   But I found spots at 3” too.

Hope it gets cranking
