Lol,18z Nam kuchera map

Those Kuchera maps seemed to barf on themselves a little bit in the last event.  Wasn't it showing like widespread 18" amounts?

I know up here it was wildly wrong as we had lower than 10:1 ratios (like 0.2" QPF to 1.7" snow) where as Kuchie thought we should have 30:1 ratios because it was cold.

I looked at them today and they are not much different then the 10:1 maps for this storm, Except for the Nam one

Yeah seems in cold snows the Kuchie method is going to struggle.  They are entertaining though for sure sometimes, ha ha.

Funny thing on the BOX website right now. The map for, "most likely amount" is for tomorrow. The map for, "potential for" is for Sunday.

Haha you might do it in this one.  It'll depend how much we get but the Maine crowd is coming for the crown.  That earlier big whopper in December (?) really coming in big now haha.

You may be at your seasonal average after this, no?

What in the world is this? That's really irresponsible by them. 6-12 for Boston are you kidding me??

In 2001 this could get you fired. Today, you get a pat on the back and a raise.

According to one of my coworkers, Accuweather had 10-14" for BOS this morning.

Just checked and they've since downgraded to 8-12". Yikes.

The 12z EPS was 11 mb stronger in the GOM at 976 mb vs 987 mb at 12z yesterday.  Doesn't this bode better for parts of SNE since it should be strengthening earlier and that should keep the lower levels colder?
