Cold Miser
1 hour ago, snowman21 said: More impressive is the forecast for tomorrow night: Saturday Night Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 10. Windy, with a southwest wind 75 to 85 mph decreasing to 50 to 60 mph. Winds could gust as high as 130 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 14 to 20 inches possible. Road Trip...Need to really put the pedal to the metal to get there in time though.

moneypitmike
Having to work today totally blows. Not only do I need to leave shortly for an event that runs into the mid-afternoon, I then have to hang around for a second dinner event that will run to at least 9:00 or 10:00. UGH!!!! Have a good one, all!

I was asleep by the time they were issuing TORs, but I'm pretty sure these were legit supercells coming on shore along the cold front. PDX had never issued more than 3 TORs in a day, and popped 10 yesterday. That was an EF2 in the video.

Anyways, impressive. I heard that stat as well about the PDX office. I'm actually handling NW weather today and it will be pretty wild later. The coasts of Oregon and Washington are going to get crushed later. Check this out in the KRNO TAF. I honestly would not want to fly into RNO today. They have insane rotor winds that are causing almost 90 degree wind shifts just a few hundred feet above ground level. CapturedNature
Coldest I saw in SNE was Alford, MA at 23° and 19° at BML for NNE (and SLK) but I'm sure Faker Hollow will come in with a reading in the teens to beat that. Going to be an awesome day for foliage drives and typical autumn activities.

Boise St also has a game today but it might be ok there.
