Considering the calendar date, a decent event. When I awoke at 5 to pee I could see it was white over everything but the vis suggested I get some more sleep. Up frequently and chose to arise once I started hearing the wind. Still snowing decently and I'd say I have around 3.

5.6" here.  It looks like I'm about to be blinded as the sun comes out and everything is covered with bright white.

I got up around 4 or so and it was just puking snow....giant flakes.

Where's the wind?  I had one decent gust about an hour ago but that was it.  I thought I would see a few more.

Tree on a house on 197 in Woodstock, maybe just to your east?

Fun event

In Boston metro, the largest flake diameters may have surpassed the ground accumulation.

Definitely heaviest rates of the season, and largest flakes I think I've ever seen, legit 2"+ flakes.

For Boston metro, lots of the accumulation was wasted with melting in between bands 6-7am...

And I think we'd have had a better shot at 3-4" if it was just a few degrees colder. It was still 32-34F at 7:30am, so aside from the band with the incredible snowgrowth, the snowfall was mostly wasted.
