See Will and Scott's posts above.  You'll get snow all day.

Yeah there should be snow through the afternoon north of the dry slot.  It's just funny how to radar looks basically similar to so many other storms this winter.

The good storms usually feature a period of heavy snow where you rack up several inches quickly.  That window may have already passed with the initial thump (ongoing in SNE).  BGM had a period of very heavy snow and to a lesser extent, ALB to PSF had an hour or two before daybreak.  It looks like BGM picked up 10-12" already.  As the mid-level low approaches, some bands will likely develop further north up into C and NNE... but those could feature rates closer to 1/2" than 2"  And I could see the warm push introducing some sleet and a more showery nature to the radar up into NEPA, SENY, and maybe further north.

Snow growth has been varying here over the past 30-45min.  Closing in on 5"

I missed this, this AM.  Takes a lot to get TAN to do this.

Visibility hovering around 3/4mi.  I doubt I'll make it another 2 hours before the sleet moves in.
