These flakes are taking forever to get to the ground. I've roughly timed them at about 4-5 feet per second. If they originate at say 7000-5000 feet, it's taking them somewhere between 29 and 17 minutes to make the trip. That's wild!

Edit: I have no idea at what elevation a snowflake originates.
