    Dew points have legitimately crashed. That doesn’t seem to be hindering storm development to the west, and irs probably increasing the wind threat (with larger downdraft cape), but it *might* limit coverage a bit.

    Fort Belvoi (DAA) and Lake Anna/Bumpass (7W4), and Fredericksburg (EZF) all hit 100°. We definitely seem to be running just a degree or two warmer today in the air temperature department.

    Most likely they are overblown. But at this point anything above 90 is going to be hot for me at least.

    After a high of 84 today we have had thunderstorms develop and bring some hard rainfall with cooler temps in the low 70s. Current temp is a cool 71 degrees.

    Naval academy (NAK) getting the worst of both worlds right now. A faint bay breeze that's enough to push in more humid air, but too weak to cool things off. They're 95/76 right now for a heat index of 108°.

    Wilmington (ILD) and Delaware Airpark (33N) both hit 100° Atlantic City (ACY) hits 103°

    On my deck now under patio umbrella. It’s tolerable in the shade. Minus the wasp nest in my patio umbrella. That’s a problem

    It's been 100 here for the past hour. Yesterday I hit 103. I might be close again today.

    Based off mesonet and ASOS data, there appears to be a surface boundary running right along I-97 in Anne Arundel County. Might see something fire up or get enhanced by that later on.

    it's got some hail potential according to RadarScope, and it isn't moving very fast either so training and potential flood issues are there if the cell maintains itself.

    Ughhh. Just took out our pup to do her business. Currently at 2:30 it is 96/82 for real feel of 120. And it feels every bit of that in the shade. Even worse out in the sun.

    Yeah that should be a great photo op. Side note - the more isolated restrooms here look like sheds from a 1980s horror movie… So far security hasn’t hassled me thankfully.
