Seems like everything is a stalled front or just pop up randomness these days. Is it a result of generally more moisture in the air? 

Not sure how to describe it but we don't get the light-moderate, large precip shield type systems anymore. Also feel this is why forecasts have a difficult time pinpointing the winners and losers.

That's pretty typical in the warmer months, though, right?  That said, this has been one of the most humid summers that I can recall...certainly since those legendary summers of 2017 and 2018.  What we're really missing are those southern storms or even tropical remnants, but the overall base state airmass since spring implies we may get more of those this year.

Quick storm came through.  Must've rained hard, a quick .34".
