EastCoast NPZ
Seems like the area storms along the eastern BR is converging towards the line of showers out in WV headed east. Wonder what the implications are for out in the Valley. Do we stay in the dry middle or does the convergence lead to outbreak of precip in the valley? stormy
For many portions of Virginia, the drought insists on persisting. Augusta County was dry slotted again, giving me .08". Sutton W.Va. was radar indicated to receive 5.41". Clifton Forge 2.13", Gordonsville 2.01", Lake Monticello 1.06", Scottsville .81". This looks real good!!!! wxdude64
Got lucky! And set records, lol. 1.19" of rain fell, breaking 1989's 0.71", and set a second consecutive record 'warm minimum' with 67.8 degrees, also breaking 1989's 67 degree reading. Looked like we were going to join the miss club, then around midnight a rumble or two of thunder and heavy rain fell for about two hours.

I would have felt like a visitation from heaven had occurred if that much had accumulated in my gauge!
