Out here doing yard work last few hours like some of yall. Agree this sucks. Even as someone who works outside lol. Bring on the real cold fronts!

Was in the garden weeding and picking some veggies. When it was time to come back in I could not remove my t shirt, it was totally wet.  Disgusting !

Got another typical thunderstorm here 0.03 But kind of glad we missed this one...

0.60 for the month

However there was a lot of wind here... Seeing reports in the Stuarts Draft area south of Waynesboro where they have had good rains recently - of signifcant wind damage to trees and power lines including trailers at the Hershey plant being blown over...

We had a storm roll thru between 4:30 and 5 pm, about 1/3" of rain and some small hail, and a 27 mph gust. LOTS of thunder and lightning though.

Nice !  It certainly got windy here...  Looks like Draft got a hell of a sucker punch earlier..

Just looked at my numbers - I have received 4.19 total since May 29th... One quick drive through town up here looking at the lawns clearly shows the lack of rain until you get to the foot of Afton then it's a different world....

This is my favorite type of summer pattern…probably by far. Not terribly hot…but Florida-like in its personality with chances of storms a few days a week. Judging by radar, we might have to accept yet another round of showers/storms. Mosquitoes appear to be around as well.

Heading to Hershey park today. Line of storms moving toward that area already.

Hershey has some legit rides and the water park was pretty fun. Went a couple summers ago. Also won a HP basketball playing basketball…because that’s what I do.

Tidal Force is being retired this year. Makes me sad but also not surprised, been enjoying that water ride since I was a kid.

Its bad out here. I'm in Madison WI for the week and the sky is a sickly blue/grey. Its all in the upper air, but its effect on the sun is extremely noticeable. Does suck as I was planning to try and head up to the upper peninsula of Michigan for star/meteor gazing Thursday into Friday, but if the smoke stays around I'm cooked. Hoping that the upper winds coming from the North can save me but I don't know which altitude the smoke is coming in from.
