Judging by radar, Frederick is maintaining its status as a 2026 precip magnet. Good to see. Could have used a storm on top of me while hiking near Lake Mead earlier. Vegas heat is the real deal.

Negative for me. I see the NE pivot happening. Will take my thunder, cool down and 0.01” of precipitation.

Yeah, I have doubts too, but we need to let this play out.  Some initiation now in Montgomery County.   Outflow boundaries could explode in this environment.

Storm just popped behind the bay breeze front in northern AA county

That’s been kind of a theme…northern sections have done a little better this year. I’ve been on the southern edge of several events.

.75" so far.  Temp. down to 70.

Up to 0.38 now - very intense rain for about 10 minutes... We are so close yet so far away when it comes to convective rainfall.... I realized the first year after moving here from Crozet that the NW corner of Waynesboro is usually gonna be in a convective rainfall minimum when compared to the rest of Waynesboro/eastern Augusta..
