BlizzardNole
A big 0.2 for me, and the forecast has been walked back to just scattered light showers. That 0.2 is probably my total. Then we descend into 100-plus degree hell this week

canderson
At the national zoo. It was quiet but since the rain is not going to materialize it’s getting crowded. And quite more humid. Sun wants to break through. Carrying around an umbrella for zero reason is fun. But it is pouring up at home in Harrisburg. We need rain desperately bad and are in a bad drought.

The only story in town is the extreme heatwave and the drought. 0.00 here Mount Holly realized their forecast yesterday morning was waaay too bullish given the weakly forced environment for this 'event'. Decent PWAT and some afternoon heating along with the weak front moving through is pretty much all this has going for it. There will probably be some localized heavy showers and maybe a rumble of thunder in a few spots but many locations will see little to nothing.

CAPE
Best chance of heavier showers developing is probably this afternoon into the evening with these weak upper level disturbances moving through and coinciding with peak heating.

You are in here acting like a child because you don't like the observations of others. It's pretty clear based on guidance and actual forecasts that this will not be a widespread rainfall for the region that will have a meaningful impact on the drought. Some locales have/will get lucky with some rain. Disagree?
