Oh look. Another mid summer day. This july hasn't been horrible but it hasn't been great. I can't wait for just slightly above average to return lol

Wow what a refreshing afternoon this has turned out to be up here. Currently at 77 with some clouds and a wonderful WNW wind blowing. Had lunch out on the deck as we opened it up early.

It's reached the point in leaf-out where the breeze sounds different. With the temps, very summery vibe.

One benefit of the warm weather is that my plan to wake up and take pictures of the sunrise is a lot less chilly for tomorrow. Otherwise, its been a dry heat which is better than a humid one... though, any temperatures above 80 this time of year aren't ideal.

This year has been a refreshing change from the chilly, wet Aprils we often get. The sunshine and low humidity is reminding me of 1985, the most pleasant April in my memory.

After back to back 90F readings at DCA, a mild 81F today.  This is the 12th 80+ temp of the year.  It's April 17th.

If we could get weatherbell to put out a pollen accumulation graph in Kuchera ratios I bet it would be more than we get in snow during an average winter.

The record number of days through April 30th is 14 set in 1976. 2025 and 2026 are tied in second place with 12. Today 2026 will move into second place by itself.
