Terpeast
Just now catching up - had company over today so was quiet. Looks like the ccb may not get far enough west here, and I don’t want to gamble on the norlun, I’m thinking the local min may be imby or close. Running out of time for bigger changes. Should be a great storm with double digits E/NE of DC, and maybe someone lucky will see 10” from the norlun (and I don’t think its going to be me). Historic for DE/PHL/NJ/NYC/BOS, though! Fun to watch from a met perspective. PS. i’m at 40/29. Tad warm, not sure what the models had me at for this time. 2

clskinsfan
Already down to 33 here. DP of 28. And the radar is starting to build to my west. I feel a lot batter about getting some snow out here now. We will miss the coastal. But hopefully we can score a few inches before it cranks up. And of course there is the Norlun that will get somebody out this way.

In a week it'll all be melted here and it'll be sunny and 50F perfect blue bird weather. Up there they'll still be digging out of dirty gross snow covered in dog poo. WxMan1
FV3 never verifies well. I'm more annoyed that the 00Z RGEM sucked for all of us. Never get into sustained mod-hvy rates for a while and the precip is gone before 12Z Mon. Looks to progressive with the coastal low. 1

Always enjoyed drive home from work in DC heading north up GW Pkwy to McLean/Great Falls, enjoyed watching how the snowpack got better the further up the Pkwy I got. DC green, McLean white. Lived in McLean for 62 years. The difference between totals on MCLEAN and DCA is significant and real. However, the difference has gone down over years and we are unfortunately now closer to DCA‘s totals then we are IAD’s. That’s happened in the last 10 years and it sucks.
SnowGolfBro
Temp dropped faster tonight than i thought it would. Just stepped out back with the dog and it feels like snow is coming.
