Chris78
Should be a good omen for areas further East that the I81 corridor is getting snow. The last few days that area was in a dead zone on Models. Should intensify for areas East of Frederick pretty quickly. Good luck to everyone tonight. 4
Eskimo Joe
Based off mesonet data, the wet bulb temp is 32/33 degrees for everyone west of I-95. It won't take much to bump this down below more once things get started. It looks like we might waste very little, if anything at all, on getting all frozen. 6

Eskimo Joe
RH spike to ~90% on all the Frederick, Carroll, Baltimore and Howard County mesonet sites. Precip is probably punching down to the surface.

Feeling a foot between the synoptic and upslope stuff! Yeah, feeling like we hit the upper range of forecasts based on trends so far - this stuff is so fluffy too which is helping to accumulate quickly. Super pumped to see this turning into a region wide type of event vs what was shown a few days ago. Looks like the show is starting out east! WEATHER53
44.7 for a high and 41.3 now so temps didnt rise with cloud cover. I’ve seen it the other way plenty and it hurt us. Tomorrow could be wild in a lot of ways as if it really is down to 20-22 at sunset and still gusting to 35, sustained 20-25 then that’s bitter and maybe blowing snow? It’s like I’m time traveling
