They have gotten completely destroyed by 51 inches of fresh snow in 36 hours. The instructors are going crazy. This is definitely one of those 'white-room' days. You gotta have a damn SNORKEL! That snow is deep as shoosh! Mammoth has been drastically altered. I'm LOST trying to figure out the place just from looking thru the webcams. Plow guy's in serious trouble today, because the snow ain't giving NO quarter. You know what the damn KICKER is? They are going to get 2-3 feet MOAR today! THE FRACKIN' RADAR IS A PACIFIC FIREHOSE. It's 642am Texas time, and the guys in the Woolly Lot are struggling with deep snow and torrential snowfall and strong winds and between their snowblowing efforts and that damn wind and super heavy snow (more brobdingnagian radar elements are slamming HARD right into Mammoth again!) it is a total milkshake froth!! I love this stuff as you can feel the desperation emanating from the crew as they struggle with WAAAAAAAAAY too much snow on the Woolly Lot! "All mountain operations suspended today due to high avalanche danger." Mammoth is forecast to pick up another 18 inches of new snow today. Yeah. You read that correctly. On top of the 67 inches already on the ground. Up top they have about 75 inches. Hey, it's high time for a jebwalk! Oh wait, there's too much snow! Five and a half FEET!
