Mrs.J
Another dry day over here in W. Central MD. Have noticed an early corn harvest this year. The field behind my house is done, has been for about a couple of weeks. On our walk this past weekend you could see where you would have no problem crossing parts of the Potomac on foot to certain islands. Very shallow in many places. I know weather gets into patterns seems we have been stuck in one for about 3 years now over here. Many days where I have watched hopeful rain coming in only to see it hit the dry dome. Have had a bit more storms break through this year than past. But looking at my weather station have not had any rain since 9 days ago. Rain for me gives a feeling of refresh. And I need a refresh. Going to make some apple crisp now.

Weather Will
WB 12Z 3K NAM: note to self: seems like first storm in over a year that trended north rather than south inside 24 hours....
WxWatcher007
It’s a very impressive radar presentation. It’s faux tropical but it’s legit.

Weather Will
Track of storm looks like it takes it inland a little north of VA beach, which will not be far enough North for us in the NW zones, at least for today. Looking at the radar loop, HRRR looks like it might verify, keeping any steady rain south of DC through 7am. WB 17Z HRRR through 7am Wed.
dailylurker
Pouring in the lowlands. Nothing new here. I'm guessing 1-2 over the next several days here in my area. Hopefully this thing moves along and doesn't sit for days.

It’s still attached to a frontal boundary.

Looks tropical to me. It probably does have a warm core, given the time of year and location.
