* WHAT...Temperatures as low as 34 will result in frost formation.

* WHERE...In Maryland, Eastern Garrett and Western Garrett Counties.
  In Virginia, Western Highland County. In West Virginia, Western
  Grant and Western Pendleton Counties.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 8 AM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
  outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

Not unusual this time of year for that area. East of the highlands will see that same message in maybe another 6 weeks, and east of there longer than that.

44F for the low.  I could see my breath this morning.   Glorious evening and with that full moon last night and setting this morning.... just epic.

10/10 out there.  Only picked up 0.4" this weekend but that's enough to keep the grass growing and prevent more burnout for a couple days.  Long range, CPC has us in normal to slightly above normal precip after the 15th... we'll see

Yeah. The forecast for next week is going downhill. It's hard for this area to stay pleasant for more than a week.

You can tell we're losing sun angle. Not a single mesonet site git 1,000w/m^2 today despite full sun.

Yeah. The forecast for next week is going downhill. It's hard for this area to stay pleasant for more than a week. 

We’re pretty good at clouds here. Not as good as the upper Midwest and northeast, but pretty good. Whenever we get into these high pressure dominant patterns, I try to soak it up...especially in the winter.
