Yeah the part coming through here is pretty week. Mainly just rain and I can hear thunder off to the W, which looking at radar makes sense as Jefferson looks to be getting hit. The stuff in Jefferson and Walkersville looks pretty intense. Will take all the rain I can get though no matter how light.

Definitely needed the rain here. I’m expecting 0.5”+ from that. Looks like Moco is in line next. Will be interesting to see if it holds.

That complex that was moving SE from Lancaster, PA. is now turned more Southerly and dropping almost due
South. It is now warned for the extreme Northern part of the Chessy and the Elk Neck State Park and other areas in the Northeast part of the Eastern Shore,

Been up at the cabin all weekend.  Been perfect weather up here.  Some storms came through a few hours ago and now it's cooled off and definitely feels like fall.  I see on the radar some big storms coming through home back in Calvert.  Need the rain there.

I've noticed up here on the mountain since this spring that all the foliage has these tears in it that don't look like insect damage.  I wonder if there was hail this spring that damaged the leaves when they were still young?  It's on all the trees all over so it doesn't seem specific to any one type of tree.  Has made the trees look ratty all summer.  Looking forward to figuring up the wood stove soon.  Did homemade pizza in the AGA oven that was very good.

Interesting theory. (But it's beyond my knowledge of silvaculture....hopefully someone knows)

3k NAM says tomorrow is a midnight high with midday highs of upper 60s/low 70s.  Euro is near 80/low 80s.  GFS upper 70s, GGEM low 70s.

There is a lot more support for the cooler solution in the evening guidance, including from the always-mixed and warm HRRR and HiResW FV3.     There is also growing consensus that much of the area might not get out of the 60s on Tuesday
