rimetree
81/58...pretty much ideal. Hoping we can translate this to first week in Aug when down on the Cape. A little humidity won't hurt but don't want everything covered in dew. Doesn't look wet at this range so fingers crossed.

Finally got the air quality alert issued for Mass. I noticed a different odor as well, didn't have the same scent as some of the previous intrusions of smoke from a few months back.

weathafella
4 hours ago, kdxken said: Weirdly yesterday was the hottest day of the month in Boston. Didn't really seem it. Maybe because it was kind of short-lived with the storms? I left home and headed to work in Worcester around 11AM. I have been teaching this course for 4 years and yesterday was the hottest I’ve experienced in downtown-this before AND after the little storm rolled through. Deep into metro west car was registering mid to upper 90s. 0Z MEX had 96 for BOS Tuesday. That could be the sneaky run for the money hot one. Probably wouldn't be much smoke at ground level if we didn't have a bit of a breeze mixing things up. Though I haven't really looked at anything in terms of the smoke plume and how shallow it really is so could be breeze has minimal impact
