tunafish
Hey @weatherwiz. Check out this beauty. Only about a half dollar coin size. Let's see how big she can get (orb weaver). I think she positioned herself where a light from a neighbor shines at night. Can you find her? She's pretty well hidden between the grasses and alyssum.

HimoorWx
Thinking of doing the wintertime Cog Railway trip up to 4000 feet in late November or early December. Anyone taken it before? Thanks.

Not The Cog, yet, but I took the van with the tracks on it in Feb of 2020, pretty damn cool if you like winter.

bristolri_wx
How about them Pats. Amazing what competent coaching and some decent drafting and signing can do. Plus a weak strength of schedule . Not convinced they are "very good", but at least they are playoff worthy in a weak AFC.
tamarack
After seeing no ticks from late June thru mid September, the little horrors are back in force. Yesterday's woods walk included pushing through some dense sapling stands and I brought home (and dispatched) 10 deer ticks.

I was just saying neither me or the dog have had one in a while after getting a bunch in the beginning of summer. Hope it stays that way down here. mreaves
We are once again dog parents. Say hello to Bella. She is a 4 yo beagle. Her previous owner od’d though all appearances are that she had been treated well. Norman seems to be adjusting ok. He did puff up his tail but there has been no altercation yet.
