Based off radar and SPC meso analysis, I would argue the tornado risk is probably focused south of I-66, perhaps even further south towards I-64 and the tidewater or Virginia. The DC -> Baltimore metro regions seem to be in between the best dynamics and surface instability.

Not sure about this, but I just got an alert for a tornado watch in the metros. It was from Alexa and she’s a whacko so I’m not sure.

How could you talk about your girlfriend like this?.

I don’t want to interrupt the severe thread so I’ll ask this here, but why wasn’t a tornado watch issued for the metros today?

Are you being sarcastic or?  There is one until midnight.  I dunno why Radarscope isn't showing it

Not according to the LWX text (unless they've corrected it). Their map doesn't show it either

I see what you mean now on the site, my apologies.  But yes, the tornado watch was issued around 5pm

Beautiful mostly clear blue skies with lower humidity and of course gusty winds down here in Charlottesville...  Haven't seen anything down here... When Charlottesville dosent get the rains that's when you know it was a total bust down in these parts... Did receive about .15 earlier at home in Waynesboro for a monthly total of almost exactly 6.50...

Tornadic circulation about to pass south of my place in Edgewater. Looks like we’ll get smoked by rain again there. Needed 1.21” to eclipse 9” for the month. Have a good shot I feel. Man, what a month for rainfall around here.
