I have 3 inches left in about a 12x24 shady spot behind my house. I was thinking about rolling around in it But my wife was giving me the death stare.

Take her with you

Mornings suddenly have a different feel. Birds chirping up a storm, daffodil and crocus popping out. Winter is just about done.

I need .25 to make it to 40" on the season. Can you make that happen?

Yep, I also noticed the tree buds on the early bloomers get a big bigger this week with the warm temps.  Amazing how easily we got a +15 day.

Looks like my snowpack will make it to EXACTLY 4 weeks of total coverage...likely the 50's and rain later tomorrow and tomorrow night nukes whats left of it (down to about 3" in the sun and 5" in the shade)...but it made it to exactly 4 weeks which is pretty impressive even for up here.

Sleeting in Harrisonburg right now. That is probably pretty decent news for us up here in the Northern Valley. If they can sleet during the warmest part of the day we should be good for quick burst of snow later.

Yea...definitely a good thing . Whole  Column probably pretty cold just need the surface to catch up this evening.

Very very light snow on and off here since 2:00.  When it started it was 42° but now it’s down to 39°.

NW of Staunton in Augusta County

That reinforces that the column is plenty cold

Very nice.

Got the good old fashioned white rain event going on here, 37.0/32.2. Was 42 about an hour ago.

Starting to stick to grass and cars, 36.6/32.3

Sprinkles beginning in Gainesville,  45°. Looking forward to seeing some wet snow mixing in at around 9:30 tonight (according to future radar).

Timing seems to be speeding up looking at radar . You might mix earlier.
