Gonna need rates everywhere to pick up

Yup.  There’s a pretty good line of higher dbz stuff NW of me, hopefully that holds as it collapses South.

Still all rain in Simsbury. Think I'm going for a drive up the hill to chase some flakes

Interesting that you're raining while Ginx is snow. Cold funneling down from Maine over there?

28.4F  Storm over.    2.25"  snow at my elevation.  Friend says 1" ish at Newfound Lake at 587 feet

About .65"  precip approx

Temperatures during the last heavy band where below 30F so the trees  (oaks still leafed) are not snow coated nor birches.  Models were great i how it worked out.

Good Luck to everyone south!

Changing over now. Doubt it accums much though.

Thought it was just here, figured it was snowing everywhere besides here in the "valley"....finally see a few flakes mixing in as we speak though. Kids want just enough to slide down the hill, might have to stick to sledding on wet leaves and mud. Temp down to 35.4⁰

Right, thats what I was thinking. Also P type informed by rate of precip. And as I type this, we've switched to snow
